Library timeline

The Library timeline puts every experiment you have ever run on one scrolling time axis: what ran and when, what is running now, what is scheduled, and what is expected next in your pipelines. Archived experiments are on it too, so the history is complete rather than recent. It sits behind a Table and Timeline toggle in the Library, and opens on All time.

What happened, what is scheduled and what is estimated are drawn differently, so a guess never looks like a fact. A past bar is what actually ran, a scheduled date is one somebody set, and an estimate is shown as one.

Pipeline stages are placed in order, following each pipeline's own rules for moving on, so a stage appears after the one it waits for. Tests that may interact with each other are flagged.

Seen together, the gaps and overlaps become obvious: the month with nothing running, two tests on one page in the same week, what is coming up next. The timeline is for reading, and it moves nothing. Changes are still made on the experiment, its schedule or its pipeline.
