Pertento for Framer

Added through the site custom code settings, with variants built against the published site rather than the canvas.

One script tag · 0.9 KB · no cookiesAll integrations

Framer publishes a site from a design canvas, and its custom code setting is where the tag goes, set to load in the head on every page. Everything after that happens on the published site rather than in Framer: variants are built by pointing at elements on the live page, so no part of the design file is touched and a republish does not overwrite an experiment. As with any generated markup, target by URL and by content rather than by the class names Framer produces.

How it connects

  • Add the tag under the site custom code settings, in the head.
  • Publish, then confirm the tag is on a live page.
  • Build variants against the published site and prefer stable selectors.
