Litium storefronts are rendered by an application you control, so Pertento installs into that application’s layout as an ordinary script tag. Category, product and checkout pages are then all testable client-side. Where the experiment is about what the backend does, such as which products are returned or which promotion applies, the SDK makes the assignment during the request, and the console reports the two halves as one experiment.
How it connects
- Add the tag to the storefront layout so it runs before the page paints.
- Call the SDK in the backend for tests that change the response rather than the page.
- Share one visitor identifier between the two paths.
