Pertento for Norce

API-first, so the tag goes into whichever storefront renders the pages and the SDK covers what the API decides first.

One script tag · 0.9 KB · no cookiesAll integrations

Norce is API-first, which means the storefront in front of it is an ordinary web application and Pertento treats it as one. The tag goes into that front end’s head and covers every page it renders. Where an experiment changes something settled before the page is built, a sort order or a promotion the API returns, the SDK is called from your own code instead and shares assignment with the tag. There are no Norce-specific steps below, because there are none to give: the platform does not constrain where a script tag can go.

How it connects

  • Add the tag to the head of the storefront application, as high as the template allows.
  • Call the SDK from your backend for tests that change what the API returns.
  • Pass one stable visitor identifier to both, or the split will drift apart.
