Pertento for Matomo
Exposures sent to a Matomo instance you host yourself, so experiment data never leaves infrastructure you control.

Matomo is the usual choice when analytics has to stay on your own infrastructure, and Pertento fits that without weakening it: exposure events are sent to your Matomo instance as a custom dimension, and nothing about the experiment requires a third party to hold the data. Results can then be read in Matomo alongside the rest of your reporting, and read in Pertento with the statistics attached. Both are counting the same events.
How it connects
- Set the custom dimension Matomo should record the variant against.
- Send exposures on assignment, so the dimension is set before any conversion.
- Segment Matomo reports by that dimension to read outcomes per variant.
