AI Credits and Credit Packs

AI features in Pertento are paid for with AI credits. Every plan includes a number of credits each month, and you can buy more as one-time packs.

What uses credits

AI features that use credits are switched on deliberately rather than running by default. Sentiment analysis on survey comments is one: it is off until you switch it on for a survey, and it shows an estimate of its cost before you do. See Sentiment Analysis on Survey Comments.

Ask about this experiment, the AI assistant in every experiment, uses credits for each answer and shows the cost under it. In the usage list its answers appear as "Results AI assistant". See Asking AI about an experiment.

Credits from your plan

Each plan includes a monthly amount: 2,000 on Start, 3,000 on Grow, 5,000 on Scale, 7,500 on Business and 12,500 on Unlimited. They renew at the start of each plan period, and unused plan credits do not carry over.

An agency's agency fee does not include credits of its own. Each client account has the credits of its own plan.

Credit packs

If you need more in a month, buy a pack in Settings then Billing, in the AI credits panel. Packs come in 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000 credits, priced on the pricing page.

• A pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
• Pack credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
• They belong to the account that bought them and cannot be moved to another.
• Packs can only be bought by an account with a plan.

After payment, the credits can take a minute to appear.

Which credits are spent first

Plan credits are always used first, so credits that would expire at the end of the period are not wasted. Pack credits are used once the plan credits for the period are gone.

Reading the AI credits panel

• Balance: the credits you can use now.
• From your plan: how many of this period's plan credits are left, and when they reset.
• Bought: credits left from packs, and when the earliest of them expires.
• Used in the last 30 days: credits spent, broken down by feature.

The header usage pill on every page also shows your current balance.

What happens at zero

When the balance reaches zero, AI features pause. Nothing extra is billed. They resume when your plan credits reset, or straight away if you buy a pack. An account without an active plan cannot use AI features even if it has pack credits left.

Accounts not on AI credits

Invoiced and free accounts are not on AI credits. They share one monthly allowance of 12,500 credits between Ask about this experiment and the editor's AI assistant. It runs per calendar month, UTC, and when it is used up both are available again on the first of the next month.

Refunds

Credits have no cash value. If a pack is refunded in full, its unspent credits are removed.
