Connecting Claude
Add Pertento as a custom connector in claude.ai, sign in, choose what Claude may do, and start asking about your experiments.

Custom connectors need a paid Claude plan. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may have to allow custom connectors first. A connector you add in claude.ai also works in the Claude desktop app.
Add the connector
- 1In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
- 2Give it a name, for example "Pertento", and paste the server address:
https://app.pertento.ai/mcp - 3Leave the advanced settings (client ID and secret) empty.
- 4Click Connect. Pertento's sign-in page opens.
- 5Sign in to Pertento if you are asked to. A passkey works too.
Allow access
On Pertento's consent screen:
- 1Check that it names Claude and marks it as a verified app.
- 2Choose what Claude may do. See Scopes and websites for an AI assistant.
- 3Choose which websites it may reach, and how long the connection lasts.
- 4Enter your Pertento password, and confirm with your passkey if you are asked to.
- 5Click Allow.
You are back in claude.ai, and Claude is connected. In Pertento it is listed under Settings → Agent access → Connected apps.
Use it in a chat
Turn the Pertento connector on in a chat, then ask, for example:
- "List my Pertento websites."
- "How is experiment 1234 doing?"
- "Build a draft test on the product page that makes the add to cart button larger."
Before Claude starts, ends or deploys anything, Pertento gives it a preview of what will happen. See How an assistant makes live changes safely.
If it does not connect
"Couldn't discover OAuth settings", or a similar error, almost always means the address is wrong. It must be exactly https://app.pertento.ai/mcp.
Connecting Claude again replaces the earlier connection, so you will not end up with two.
