Setting Up Passkeys for Account Security

Pertento supports passkeys as a secure, passwordless authentication method. Passkeys improve account protection and allow you to sign in using trusted devices such as phones, laptops or hardware-backed authenticators.

Initial setup

The first time you sign in, Pertento will display a banner prompting you to enable passkeys.

Following the prompt will guide you through creating your first passkey on your current device.

Setup from account settings

You can also configure passkeys at any time by navigating to:

Account → Two-Factor Authentication → Passkeys

From there, you can add new devices or manage existing ones.

Multiple devices

Pertento supports multiple passkeys.

You can register additional devices to ensure you always have access, for example:

• laptop
• work phone
• personal phone
• hardware security key

Using multiple passkeys is recommended for redundancy.

Lost access to a passkey

If you lose access to all registered passkeys or devices, contact Pertento Support.
Our team will complete an account ownership verification process and help you regain access.
