Installation and authentication

After installing the extension, open it from your Chrome toolbar.

You will be prompted to sign in with your Pertento account.

Once authenticated, the editor will automatically load all experiments associated with your account.

Viewing and opening experiments

The extension shows all experiments across all states, including:

  • Draft
  • Running
  • Ended
  • Deployed
  • Archived

To access the editor for an experiment:

  1. 1Select the experiment
  2. 2Choose the variant you want to edit or view
  3. 3Click Open Editor

This will launch the visual editor directly on the page.

Switching variants

To switch to a different variant, you must first close the currently open editor session.

Once the editor is closed, simply choose another variant from the extension and open it as needed.

Notes

  • You must be logged in to your Pertento account for the editor to function.
  • Experiments and variants are displayed regardless of status to allow review and reuse.
  • The extension does not modify your site unless you actively save or deploy changes.
